DESIGN PROCESS
DESIGN CONCEPT
Our lighting concept development phase begins with an analysis of the architectural context and client needs. We assess the function of the space, the flow of people, the surfaces of the materials and the atmosphere we want to create. Based on the analysis, we predict the basic lighting types, light directions, intensities and control principles – this becomes the basis for all further lighting design.
LIGHTING SIMULATION
Based on the lighting concept, we perform simulations to assess whether the selected luminaires will fulfill the intended idea. We analyze the level of illumination, uniformity, glare risk and compliance with standards and good practices. This allows us to ensure that the solutions will be comfortable, balanced and technically sound even before implementation.
TESTING
We test principle lighting solutions when the complexity of the site or the specifics of the solution require it. Testing helps to ensure that the luminaires, their layout and lighting parameters are in line with the concept, the results of the calculations and the required quality requirements. Although testing is not mandatory for every project, it is particularly useful before embarking on unique projects.
COMMISSIONING
During the implementation phase, we oversee how lighting solutions are implemented on site - from installing luminaires to adjusting control systems. We make adjustments to the light fluxes, direction and control scenarios to ensure that the lighting is in line with the design concept and the real needs of the space. This stage ensures that the final result is technically accurate, visually harmonious and maximally functional.
